Original LITANY OF LORETO IN BLUE II, CONSOLATRIX AFFLICTORUM, MARY'S SWORD OF SORROW

This is the original 8.5x8.5in painting "Consolatrix afflictorum, Mary's Sword of Sorrow," from the Litany of Loreto in Blue collection done in watercolor by Katrina Rose Harrington in 2020. 

This painting contains irises which have the religious name of Mary's Sword of Sorrow. These were chosen to represent the invocation of Consolatrix afflictorum (Comfort of the afflicted) in the Litany of Loreto. 

Original paintings are signed and then sealed with a UV archival finish to protect it and prevent any fading or damage from UV light. Originals are sold unframed to allow the patron to choose matting and framing to their taste.
