This is the original 7x10in painting "Des Paquerettes, Daisies for St. Therese," done in watercolor and acrylic by Katrina Rose Harrington.
This painting is inspired by the spiritual bouquet Saint Therese, the Little Flower, prayed leading up to her final vows as a Carmelite. She had a prayer journal, and for each day, she chose a white flower and specific prayer to add to the spiritual bouquet. Her prayer on Day 14 translates as, "14th day - Daisies. O Jesus! grant me the grace to do all my actions to please You alone."
Original paintings are signed and then sealed with a UV archival finish to protect it and prevent any fading or damage from UV light. Originals are sold unframed to allow the patron to choose matting and framing to their taste.
